POSITION: Project Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Area Manager, the project coordinator will perform administrative duties and provide assistance to project managers.
DUTIES:
- Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Set up awarded projects and related subcontracts and track all payments, insurance, bonds, payrolls, EEO documents, etc. throughout the duration of the project.
- Manage and track UDOT and federal paperwork for Geneva Rock and all hired subcontractors.
- Approve and track payments to and from Geneva Rock from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in designing and writing project proposals submitted to project owners.
- Process and approve weekly timecards for construction division.
- Process month-end billing, reading and recording of the reports needed for accounting.
- Attend annual UDOT conference and any necessary events throughout the year.
- Train construction iPad users, provide necessary technical apple support on and off-site.
- Perform miscellaneous projects and requests from project managers.
- Maintain insurable driving record.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent years of experience in a professional environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction industry preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/SAFETY:
- Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 15 lbs;
- Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment;
- Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.
- Driving, depending on the occasion.
