Job Title: Lead Aggregate Dispatcher
Division: Aggregate
Job Summary: Under the direction of the aggregate sales manager, the primary responsibilities of the lead aggregate dispatcher are to manage dispatch personnel, take phone orders from customers, dispatch, and schedule trucks to fulfill the orders taken.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company’s vision, mission, and core values through daily actions and decisions.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, efficiency, and service.
- Support ongoing development through coaching, mentoring, and process improvement.
- Monitor daily demand and dispatch trucks accordingly to meet customer and production needs.
- Verify each load and proactively track driver statuses to identify and resolve issues before they occur.
- Adjust dispatch plans in response to real-time conditions, equipment availability, and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly operational reports as assigned.
- Track and analyze profit and loss metrics for your assigned area to support operational decision-making.
- Respond to online inquiries and assist customers as needed.
- Work closely with sales, scale operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth coordination and superior customer service.
- Aid the sales team by addressing customer questions and supporting order accuracy.
- Cover scale operations as needed to ensure continued service coverage.
- Support remote ticketing and ensure data integrity in digital transactions.
- Maintain an insurable driving record and comply with all company and DOT safety requirements.
- Provide timely updates on issues, changes, or areas requiring management attention.
- Communicating with team members on a consistent basis.
- Promote and ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment at all times.
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with team members, customers, and management.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
